Who we are

We (“the team”) run this website and the 2027 team backer programme. You can reach us at mike@gusburtonracing.com.
What you are buying
A backer tier is a one-off contribution towards the 2027 racing season, paid up front. In return you receive the perks listed for your tier at the time of purchase. Perks such as team kit, paddock tours and event invitations are provided by us during or around the 2027 season and depend on the season taking place as planned.
Fans choose their own amount, from £10 upwards. The amount you choose sets your level: £10 or more puts your name on John, £100 or more on the race car for the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, and £500 or more on the car for the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Each level includes the ones below it. Business packages are fixed prices. Anything beyond them is arranged directly with us as a partnership and is not sold on this site.
Payment
Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in pounds sterling.
Fan levels are priced the same wherever you live, with UK VAT included. The price of the highest level your amount reaches (£10, £100 or £500) is the payment for that level. Anything you choose to pay above it is a voluntary extra to support the team. It is not payment for anything, and no VAT is charged on it. Your receipt shows the two amounts separately.
The Pit Wall is priced before VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies, based on your billing address and, for businesses, your VAT number. Where the reverse charge applies, your invoice says so. Stripe emails a VAT invoice with your receipt.
Your name on the car
The name you enter at checkout is the name we print on the car. We reserve the right to decline names that are offensive, infringe someone else’s rights, or would not be permitted by the championship organisers. If we cannot use your name we will contact you for an alternative.
Kit, sizes and delivery
Where a tier includes team kit, we collect a size and postal address at checkout. We post kit to the address you give us once it is produced; we will be in touch about timing.
Kit shipped outside the UK may attract import duties or taxes charged by the destination country. These are set and collected by that country, not by us, and are the recipient’s to pay.
Refunds
Because your contribution goes directly into the season budget, backer tiers are non-refundable except where required by law. If a UK consumer changes their mind within 14 days of purchase and no perk has yet been provided, email us and we will refund you in full. If the 2027 season is cancelled before it begins, we will contact every backer about options.
Events and tours
Event invitations are subject to circuit and organiser access rules, and to availability on the day. Travel and accommodation are not included unless stated.
Paddock tours are a free thank-you, not part of what you pay for. If you wear the team cap to a race and come and find us, we’ll show you round the paddock if we can. Tours depend on access on the day and are never guaranteed.
Prize draws
- Two ways in. Backers on every tier are entered into each backer prize draw. No purchase is necessary: signing up to our newsletter gives you one free entry to each draw.
- Equal odds. Paid and free entries go into the same draw and have exactly the same chance of winning.
- One free entry per person per draw. Signing up more than once, or with more than one email address, does not add entries.
- How winners are picked. Winners are drawn at random from all eligible entries after each draw closes. We announce each draw, its prize and its closing date before it opens.
- How winners are told. We contact winners by the email address they gave us. If we cannot reach a winner within 28 days, we may draw again.
- Under 18? You can enter, but we need a parent’s or guardian’s OK before we hand over a prize.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. We may swap a prize for one of similar value if we have to.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
